What We Do
The motto for Progress Network CIC is “Onwards and Upwards” and is a local community organisation that is based in St Leonards with a target to create, facilitate and provide services in the local area. Our approach is accepting social responsibility and understand that by creating the engaging, interactive and supporting environment necessary for human growth and development, that people will thrive, and in doing so enrich the lives of themselves, others, and the community in which they live, through education, creativity and having a space and place of value in society.
Our aim is to support and work with the local Black, African and Caribbean community with an aim to increase training, business opportunities, support systems, networking, access to information and local services which are available and through creating working partnerships with local government, organizations, charities, businesses, educators, professionals as well as people with the drive to get involved to make a positive change, whereby all people of our area will benefit.

Some areas that our Community organization will impact are the following
- Access to equipment
- Supporting local professionals
- Supplying programs, projects and workshops designed by the people of Hastings and St Leonards.
- Working closely with Black Butterfly, HVA and other local community organizations to provide services that will benefit the local community.
- Working with local educational institutions to open opportunities as an access to higher education, to gain accreditation for local people, as well as providing training onsite.
- Creating a conduit for businesses to work with and support, through funding and projects.
- Supporting local professionals
